New to funded trading?
Explore all marketsThis Tradeify review looks at one of the better known US futures prop firms. Tradeify is based in Boca Raton, Florida, sells three account types (Growth, Select and Lightning), charges a one-time fee with no subscription, and pays a 90% split on its simulated funded accounts. It accepts US traders and supports Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView, Rithmic platforms and WealthCharts.
The headline terms are good. The details that decide whether you get paid are less obvious: an end-of-day trailing drawdown that is still enforced in real time, consistency rules that change by plan, per-request payout caps, a 10-second microscalping rule, and a hard 4:45 PM ET flat rule on every account. This review sets out each one using Tradeify's own help centre, read in November 2026.

Highlights of this article
- Tradeify is futures-only: CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT products, plus EUREX on Tradovate accounts, with no forex CFDs, stocks or crypto
- Three plans, all one-time purchases: Growth from $99, Select from $109 and Lightning (instant funding) from $345 at list price
- Every account uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown that updates at the close but is enforced in real time on net liquidation value
- Consistency rules depend on the plan: 40% in the Select evaluation, 35% on Growth funded payouts, 20% rising to 30% on Lightning, none on Select funded
- The split is 90% on sim-funded accounts, paid through Rise within about 24 hours of approval, but every payout is capped per request
What Is Tradeify?
Tradeify is a proprietary trading firm that funds futures traders through simulated evaluation accounts. You pay once, trade a simulated account under set rules, and if you qualify you trade a simulated funded account and receive 90% of the payouts you request. Strong performers can later be invited to an Elite Live account, where the split is 80%.
Its homepage claims more than $350M in payouts and more than 100,000 traders. Those are company figures, not audited ones.
Tradeify Account Types and Prices
Tradeify sells three account types, each in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K sizes. Select also has a 300K size.
- Growth: an evaluation with a daily loss limit and no consistency rule, so you can pass in 1 trading day. Funded payouts follow a fixed policy with a 35% consistency rule.
- Select: an evaluation with no daily loss limit but a 40% consistency rule, so the minimum is 3 trading days (2 with a paid 50% add-on). After passing you choose Select Flex or Select Daily payouts, and neither has a consistency rule.
- Lightning Funded: no evaluation. You start on a funded account straight away, at a higher price, with no resets and a progressive consistency rule.
| Plan | 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K | Reset |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Growth evaluation | $99 | $145 | $255 | $369 | $60 to $229 |
| Select evaluation (40%) | $109 | $165 | $265 | $369 | $75 to $239 |
| Select with 50% add-on | $135 | $205 | $329 | $459 | $90 to $319 |
| Lightning Funded | $345 | $492 | $660 | $796 | None |
List prices from Tradeify's pricing reference, November 2026. Select 300K costs $570 with no resets. Prices change with promotions, so check the official site.
There is no activation fee and no monthly fee. All sales are final. You also pay commissions on every trade, for example $5.76 round trip on ES or NQ and $1.82 on MES or MNQ.
Profit Targets, Daily Loss and Drawdown by Plan
Targets are the same on Growth and Select. The loss limits are not.
| Account | Profit target | Growth daily loss | Growth max drawdown | Select max drawdown | Max size |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,500 | $600 | $1,000 | $1,000 | 1 mini / 10 micros |
| 50K | $3,000 | $1,250 | $2,000 | $2,000 | 4 minis / 40 micros |
| 100K | $6,000 | $2,500 | $3,500 | $3,000 | 8 minis / 80 micros |
| 150K | $9,000 | $3,750 | $5,000 | $4,500 | 12 minis / 120 micros |
The targets are 6% of the account. There is no time limit on either evaluation, but you must place at least one trade a week on every account or it can be closed for inactivity.
The daily loss limit is a soft breach. On Growth, Lightning and Select Daily accounts, hitting it pauses trading until 6:00 PM ET without failing the account. Select evaluations and Select Flex funded accounts have none.
Lightning has no evaluation. Its drawdown runs from $1,000 to $5,250, and you must reach a profit goal ($1,500 to $9,000) before the first payout.
How the Tradeify Drawdown Works
This is the rule most worth understanding before you buy. Every Tradeify account uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown. The floor is set from your highest end-of-day balance and only updates at the close. A day that ends at a new high lifts the floor. A losing day does not lower it.
The catch is enforcement. Tradeify states the floor is enforced in real time against your net liquidation value, which includes open losses. If an open position drags you to the floor at 10:15 AM, the account fails at that moment, even if the trade recovers by the close. So the end-of-day model protects you from the floor ratcheting up on an intraday peak, but it does not let you ride through an intraday dip below the floor.
On funded accounts the floor stops trailing and locks at $100 above your starting balance once you profit beyond the drawdown amount plus $100, or as soon as you request a payout. On a 50K Growth account that means a balance of $52,100 locks the floor at $50,100. Evaluations never lock.
A strong first week raises your floor, so a normal pullback after it can end the account. A static maximum drawdown works the other way, with the floor fixed from day one. For the two models side by side, see EOD trailing vs tick-by-tick drawdown.
Consistency Rules and Payout Caps
Tradeify's consistency rule says your biggest single day cannot be more than a set share of your total profit for the period. The share depends on the account:
| Account | Consistency rule | Payout timing |
|---|---|---|
| Growth evaluation | None | n/a |
| Growth funded | 35% | 5 profitable days per cycle |
| Select evaluation | 40% (50% with add-on) | n/a |
| Select Flex funded | None | Every 5 winning days |
| Select Daily funded | None | Daily, above a buffer |
| Lightning Funded | 20%, then 25%, then 30% | After a profit goal |
The rule does not cap how much you can make in a day. It delays your payout until your other days catch up. A $4,000 day on a Growth funded account needs at least $11,429 of total profit before you can withdraw.
Payout caps matter just as much. On a 50K Growth account the first payout is capped at $1,500, rising to $3,000 from the fourth payout. Select Flex pays up to 50% of profit, capped at $2,500 on a 50K account bought after September 1, 2026. Select Daily pays up to 2 times the profit earned since your last payout, capped at $1,250 on a 50K account, and only on profit above a $2,100 buffer. Whatever you leave in the account stays exposed to the drawdown.
There is also a microscalping rule on funded accounts: more than 50% of your trades, and more than 50% of your profit, must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds. Miss it and you cannot request a payout, although the account is not failed.

Profit Split and Payouts
The split is 90% to the trader on all sim-funded accounts (Growth, Select and Lightning), from the first payout. Elite Live accounts pay 80%.
Once a request is approved, Tradeify pays within 24 hours through Rise, by bank transfer or crypto, after you complete Rise's identity checks. Requests outside US business hours can take up to 72 hours. Only one request can be open per account, and each new cycle needs positive profit.
Trading Rules: Hours, News and Bots
- Trading hours: every position must be closed by 4:45 PM ET, or 12:59 PM ET on holiday half-days. This applies to all accounts, including Live. No overnight, swing or weekend holding. Open positions are closed automatically without failing the account. See futures market hours for the CME session.
- News trading: allowed with no restrictions. Tradeify only warns about slippage.
- Bots and algos: allowed if you are the sole owner, you do not run the same bot at other firms, and it is not high-frequency. Tradeify may ask for a live video of you starting it on your own PC.
- Hedging: prohibited, including opposite positions on correlated products or across your own accounts. A violation can forfeit profits on every account involved.
- Products: equity index (ES, NQ, YM, RTY and micros), energy, metals, currency futures, grains and livestock, plus EUREX contracts on Tradovate.
Platforms and Restricted Countries
You choose a broker at checkout, all at the same price. Tradovate gives access to Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView. Rithmic gives access to Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart and R|Trader. WealthCharts is its own platform. Level 1 CME data is included.
Tradeify accepts US traders but restricts residents of 65 countries, including Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey, Israel, Ukraine, Russia and Morocco. Check the full list before buying.
Is Tradeify Legit?
Yes, Tradeify is a real, operating firm with a public address, a detailed help centre and a large Trustpilot profile: 4.6 out of 5 across about 6,680 reviews (November 2026), with 9% of reviews at 1 star. Trustpilot shows that most reviews were invited by the company, and that it replies to most negative ones. An affiliated company, Tradeify Brokerage LLC (Slay Markets), is listed as an NFA member introducing broker. That registration covers the brokerage, not the prop evaluation program, which is simulated.
The more telling number is Tradeify's own performance disclosure, published in its site footer for August 2025 to July 2026:
- 17.2% of evaluation accounts were passed
- 40.3% of traders who started evaluations passed at least one (traders bought a median of 3 each)
- 28.5% of traders who reached the funded level received a payout
- 3.0% of funded traders were called up to a live account
Few firms publish this, and Tradeify deserves credit for it. It also sets realistic expectations: most evaluations fail, and most funded traders do not reach a payout. That is the industry norm, not a Tradeify problem. Our prop firm rules explained guide covers how these rules end accounts.

Who Tradeify Suits
Tradeify is a good fit if you are an intraday CME futures trader who wants a cheap one-time entry, a fast Growth evaluation, futures platforms such as NinjaTrader or Tradovate, and a 90% split. If you dislike consistency rules, Select with Flex payouts is the cleanest path, as long as you accept the 3-day minimum and the 50% payout cap.
It is the wrong firm if you trade anything other than futures, want to hold positions overnight or over a weekend, or want a loss floor that never trails. For a wider shortlist, see our ranking of the best prop firms and the best prop firm for futures.
The Alternative: Multi-Asset With a Static Drawdown
If Tradeify's rulebook appeals but the futures-only, trailing-floor, flat-by-4:45 model does not fit, Velotrade makes the opposite trade-offs. It is an educational, simulated evaluation service covering crypto, forex, stocks, index ETFs (SPY, QQQ, IWM) and commodities on one DXtrade account. The drawdown is static, fixed from your starting balance and never trailing. There is no consistency rule, no evaluation time limit, and news trading, weekend holding, EAs and your own API are allowed.
Plans start at $40 for the $5K PRO 1-Step (3% max drawdown, 3% daily loss) and run to $200K; the CLASSIC 1-Step (7% / 4%) starts at $67 and the CLASSIC 2-Step (10% / 5%) at $54. The split is up to 90% from the first payout: 80% by default, with 90% as a paid add-on. Velotrade accepts US traders. It does not offer exchange-traded CME futures, so a pure ES or NQ trader belongs at a futures firm. The full head-to-head is in Tradeify vs Velotrade.
For other US futures firms, see the Lucid Trading review, the Apex Trader Funding review, the Topstep review and the MyFundedFutures review, or the best prop firm for US traders.
