Vittorio De Angelis

Vittorio has spent over 30 years in capital markets and risk management. He traded equity derivatives at JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort in London, rising to Co-Head of Equity Derivatives at Bank of America. He later served as Head of Brokerage at a global broker in Hong Kong.

His philosophy is simple: what makes or breaks a trader is not a single bad trade, but a series of small bad trades that become habit. Discipline is the number one quality shared among consistently profitable traders. Luck has short legs.

As co-founder and operational lead of the original Velotrade platform, he brings institutional-grade risk discipline to everything the firm does.

Outside of work, Vittorio is an avid sailor and keen runner, and a family man with five boys.
