Which prop firms use DXtrade?
Velotrade and BrightFunded are among the prop firms running on DXtrade. It is considered a strong platform for multi-asset prop trading because it supports every instrument class natively, unlike MT4/MT5, which were designed primarily for forex.
How do I download and access DXtrade?
DXtrade runs as a web app (no download required) in any browser on desktop or mobile, plus a desktop app for Windows and Mac. After purchasing a Velotrade challenge, your DXtrade login credentials are sent immediately and work across every channel with the same account. You can also preview the live platform right now with a free, read-only guest account at dx.velotrade.com/guest. Dedicated Velotrade mobile apps are in development.
Is DXtrade available in my country?
DXtrade is a web-based and mobile platform accessible from most countries. Velotrade operates from Hong Kong and does not restrict access by country of residence for most users. Check the challenges page for any country-specific exclusions.
Can I use DXtrade on my phone?
Yes. DXtrade runs in any mobile browser with full order management, charting, and position monitoring, and your account syncs across mobile and desktop. Dedicated Velotrade iOS and Android apps are in development.
Is DXtrade better than MT4 or MT5 for prop trading?
For multi-asset prop trading, DXtrade is the stronger platform. MT4 and MT5 were designed for forex: crypto is handled via synthetic pricing and they were not built for 24/7 markets. DXtrade handles all asset classes natively, with proper session logic, leverage configuration, and instrument metadata per asset class.
Can I run an EA or trading bot on DXtrade?
Yes. DXtrade supports automated order execution via a full REST and WebSocket API, and Velotrade permits algorithmic trading on all accounts. The same risk rules apply whether trades are placed manually or by an EA, bot, or algo.
Does Velotrade offer a DXtrade demo or guest account?
Every Velotrade challenge is a DXtrade simulated account with real market prices, using the same interface as the funded account. You can also explore the platform before buying with a free, read-only guest account at dx.velotrade.com/guest — browse every instrument and the live bid/offer spreads (the guest view is read-only, with no trading).
Does Velotrade support TradingView?
We don't have a direct TradingView integration, but you can view TradingView charts inside DXtrade. You can also keep your charts open in TradingView and trade through our API, so you never need to look at the trading platform itself. For more information, see velotrade.com/api-access.
