Crypto trading questions.
Can I trade crypto 24/7 on a funded account?
Yes. Crypto markets never close and neither does your Velotrade funded account. You can trade BTC, ETH, SOL, and all other listed crypto instruments at any hour, including weekends and public holidays.
Is there a consistency rule on crypto trades?
No. There is no consistency rule. A single session or a single trade can account for your entire profit target. Your daily profit distribution is not evaluated at any point.
Can I hold crypto positions over the weekend?
Yes. There is no forced close at any point. Positions can be held through the weekend, through news events, or for as long as your strategy requires.
What leverage is available on crypto?
BTC, ETH and SOL are available at up to 6x on the challenge phase (5x funded). Mid-cap tokens such as XRP, BNB, ADA and DOGE at up to 3x (2x funded). All other tokens are available at 2x. The exact figure for each instrument is on velotrade.com/instruments.
Can I trade crypto through news events like FOMC or CPI?
Yes. There are no news trading restrictions. You can open, hold, or close crypto positions during any scheduled macro event, including FOMC decisions, CPI releases, and ETF approval announcements.
What is a static drawdown and why does it matter for crypto?
A static drawdown means your maximum loss floor is set at your starting account balance and never moves. In volatile crypto markets, this matters because your floor stays fixed even as your balance grows. You never get tightened out of a trade by a trailing mechanic.
