New to funded trading?
Explore all marketsTradeify and Velotrade both fund traders and both accept US clients, but they are built for different markets. Tradeify is a US futures prop firm: CME products only, an end-of-day trailing drawdown, and every position flat by 4:45 PM ET. Velotrade is a multi-asset firm: crypto, forex, stocks, index ETFs and commodities on one account, a static drawdown, and weekend holding allowed.
So the decision comes down to one question. Do you trade only CME futures, or do you want several markets and the freedom to hold overnight? This comparison sets out the real differences in November 2026, using each firm's own published rules.

Markets and Trading Hours
This is the biggest difference. Tradeify is a futures firm. It lists CME group products (equity index, energy, metals and grain contracts) and nothing else, and every position must be flat by 4:45 PM ET on every account type, so there is no overnight or weekend exposure. For how the CME session works, see futures market hours.
Velotrade is multi-asset. One DXtrade account covers crypto, forex, stocks, index ETFs (SPY, QQQ, IWM) and commodities. Crypto trades 24/7, and you can hold positions over the weekend. Velotrade does not offer exchange-traded CME futures, so a trader who only wants ES or NQ contracts belongs at a futures firm.

Drawdown: End-of-Day Trailing vs Static
Tradeify uses an end-of-day trailing maximum drawdown on all of its plans. On a 50K Growth evaluation it is $2,000. The floor moves up with your closing balance as you make money, although Tradeify still enforces it in real time during the day. On funded Select accounts it stops trailing once it reaches your starting balance plus $100.
Velotrade uses a static maximum drawdown. The floor is set from your starting balance on day one and never moves. On the CLASSIC 1-Step it is 7%, on the CLASSIC 2-Step 10%, and on the PRO 1-Step 3%, each with a daily loss limit (4%, 5% and 3%).
The practical effect: on Tradeify, a profitable week raises your floor, so a normal pullback after a good run can end the account. On Velotrade, profits widen your cushion instead. For the mechanics side by side, see EOD trailing vs tick-by-tick drawdown.
Consistency Rules
Tradeify uses consistency rules on most of its plans:
- Select evaluation: your best day can be at most 40% of total profit (50% with a paid add-on), so the minimum is 3 trading days.
- Growth funded: a 35% consistency rule applies to payouts, with 5 profitable days per payout cycle.
- Lightning Funded: 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second, then 30%.
- Select Flex funded: no consistency rule, but each payout is capped at 50% of profit.
Velotrade has no consistency rule on any plan, so one large day, including a news move, never delays a payout. If your profits come in bursts, that matters more than the headline split.
Profit Split and Payouts
Tradeify pays a flat 90% on sim-funded accounts (80% once you reach its Elite Live stage). Payouts go through Rise, by bank transfer or crypto, usually within 24 hours of approval. Payout size is capped per request: a 50K Growth account starts at $1,500 per payout and rises to $3,000, and you need 5 profitable days per cycle.
Velotrade pays 80%, or 90% with a paid add-on that applies from the first payout. The first payout can be requested 14 days after your first funded trade, then weekly, with a $100 minimum, paid in USDC or USDT. Completed withdrawals are published on the payouts page with their on-chain transactions.
Fees and Entry
| Plan | 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tradeify Growth evaluation | $99 | $145 | $255 | $369 |
| Tradeify Select evaluation | $109 | $165 | $265 | $369 |
| Tradeify Lightning Funded | $345 | $492 | $660 | $796 |
Both firms charge a one-time fee with no monthly subscription and no activation fee. Tradeify adds exchange commissions on every trade (for example $5.76 round trip on ES). Velotrade charges a commission per side on notional instead (0.004% on forex, 0.01% on commodities, 0.03% on crypto, stocks and index ETFs).
Velotrade is the cheaper way in: the PRO 1-Step costs $40 for a $5K account and scales to $200K. See challenge plans and pricing for every size.
Rules That Change How You Trade

- News trading: allowed at both firms.
- Bots and algos: Tradeify allows them if you own the bot, do not run it at other firms, and it is not high-frequency. Velotrade includes REST and WebSocket API access on every account; see algo trading on DXtrade.
- Microscalping: on Tradeify funded accounts, more than half of trades and profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds. Velotrade has no holding-time rule.
- Account limits: Tradeify allows up to 5 sim-funded accounts at a time.
- Countries: both accept US traders. Tradeify restricts 65 countries; Velotrade has no US restriction.
